Favorite activities in New Haven: Trying Local Restaurants Why Yale’s Emergency Medicine Program: The YNHH Emergency Medicine Program provides learning opportunities at a Level 1 Trauma Center in an alma mater town and home state. As a PA resident joining the medical resident curriculum, I’ll be well equipped for wherever my emergency medicine career takes me.

Post-graduate: Bachelor of Science in Public Health from GWU, Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) from St Bonaventure University in Olean, NY. Hobbies/Interests: Hiking, running, cooking/baking, exploring new cities and just traveling in general!
Past life: Before PA school, I worked as a scribe in the emergency department as well as a medical assistant/scribe in outpatient clinics in several different specialties.
Academic Interests: Toxicology, wilderness medicine and pediatric critical care.
Favorite activities in New Haven: I will be new to the area but am excited to discover some new hikes/running trails in the area as well as local restaurants. I’m also looking forward to the fall foliage!
Why Yale’s Emergency Medicine Program: I chose this program because it offers a combination of strong didactic education and clinical/procedural training spanning all levels of acuity, with a variety of EM applicable off-service rotations and dedicated time in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. I have also always wanted to live in the New England area and this gives me a chance to explore!
Random Factoid: The coldest weather I’ve ever run in was about -20 Fahrenheit in Fairbanks, Alaska!
